Tuscan mornings and
Italian evenings
The day begins with a continental breakfast that may include fresh pastries, pancakes, cheese, fruit and juice, and there is coffee worth lingering over once the plates are cleared. Nobody is moved along; the garden is still cool at that hour, and the morning is generally better spent slowly.
In the evening, Il Sorpasso serves Italian cooking on the property in a modern room, which means guests returning from Pisa or the coast do not have to go hunting for a table. A bar and a coffee house are also on site, useful in the quieter stretch between coming back and sitting down to dinner.
Wine and champagne are available at an additional charge.
